What the heck is a Sea Kitten?

"A lot of people don't realize that fish are capable of feeling fear and pain, that they develop relationships with each other, and even show affection by gently rubbing against one another," says Ashley Byrne, PETA's sea kitten campaign co-ordinator. "Knowing that the fish sticks in the school cafeteria are really made out of tortured sea kittens makes most kids want to lose their lunch."
Kids throwing up in the cafeteria due to extreme guilt, rriiiggghhht......
If I encounter a fish with a collar and a cute metal tag that says
Bubbles
555-5555

I'll let him go.

We couldn't live without fishsticks (or fishfingers as Craig calls them). What are the kids supposed to eat while we chow down on our salmon?

Humanizing animals is a discredit to the animal kingdom. I'm sure fish don't want to be like us and have emotions like us. Then again, maybe the fish rubbing against each other isn't just showing affection but a type of fish group therapy?

But, we'll still eat fish at our house.
