So, obviously I wasn't too concerned about modesty or standards. The dress was everything in sophistication as far as I was concerned, black lace and trimmed in pearls. Don't forget the black velvet high heels, and the nylons with the seam up the back, tres chic! (here is the funny part, I am pretty sure that I fashioned a duct tape bra under there...)

How does one top off said sophisticated look, why, with giant, crunchy hair, of course! Just apply generous handfulls of the cheapest gel you can buy, use a pick to comb through, and use a ginormous thing called a diffuser for an hour while you stand with your head flipped over, fun times!

Me and my best girlfriends for senior prom. Again, in the sophisticated black velvet, with a scarf that draped in the back. We all just thought we were off the hook!

So, I have shown you mine, lets see yours now!

This post is the best! So many things to address! LOVE the cascade of crunchy hair; LOVE how you rocked the scarf, gloves AND wrist corsage. ROCKED THEM! Just look at sweet, innocent Shayne. You're still a hottie!
Wow! Your big hair puts my "attempt" to shame. Obviously, I just wasn't that stylish. ;) Or just lazy, all the crunching and teasing seemed like too much work.
Wow love that hair. I must have gone through a bottle of hairspray a week in the 80's. I will have to see if I can dig up old Jr. Prom pics.
Great pictures..ha! I think that the material that was suppose to be on your shoulders for you dress somehow ended up on my dress on my big puffy shoulders, black velvet ones of course. I'll have to post some pictures. Love the hair! It is so funny to see the pictures of what was "cool"!
Wish I had some prom pics to share. Never got asked, so I didn't go.
I'll have to see if I can dig up any pics from dances at BYU that I went to. You may have to wait another month until I'm done with grad school stuff for the summer.
Nice pics...brings back memories:)
