Autism Awareness Day. This is my little nephew Mason and he was diagnosed as having autism almost two years ago. He is such a smart little boy and is so lucky to have such great parents, my brother Andrew and his wife Gina. They moved to Oregon to be closer to better therapies so that Mason could continue to progress, and he is doing so great! Behind every child that has autism, there are awesome, amazing, patient, proactive parents working super hard for every small and big improvement. So here's to you Andrew and Gina, and parents everywhere, you are awesome!!!

Can't thank you enough for this entry. It is hard to find others that understand parenting a child with autism. Thanks for your support and encouraging words. Our little Mason is a blessing!! What joy it is to see him doing so well!!
